Delano prepares lower school students that are University bound from the very beginning by arming our youngest learners with experiences, tools and equipment that sets the path for 21st-century learning.

I AM KNOWN

I am part of a community in and outside of the classroom and I am known in my school.

My school carefully cultivates an accepting environment where I feel safe, comfortable and where I

can take academic risks.

I AM HEARD

 My voice is heard, my hand is raised and what I say is valued and respected. 

Lower school provides me with a head start with superior teacher to pupil ratio 18:1 that equips me for a lifetime of success.

I AM CONFIDENT

With teacher support, our lower school students have a hands-on learning experience with the same tools and programs that our Middle and Upper school students have access to. This gives each student in lower school the confidence and respect of contributing and being an important part of their school. 

I AM A RISK TAKER

Lower school students are keen to be part of school culture and are beginning to form their social space.

They are ready for learning and eager to be part of a positive school experience. Students are active learners embracing academics, athletics and student life. We support our youngest learners with experiences they may not typically receive anywhere else.
